Will ChatGPT Replace Developers?

There is a lot of talk around Generative AI right now since the birth of ChatGPT. I write in devops.com why we might just be OK.

Generative AI has set the world on fire. Article after article is spent explaining that through its generative nature, the world of tech will be turned inside out!

Hmmm… I’m not so convinced. As with machine learning and other types of AI models I’m sure they will help, but I don’t think any model will replace developers. Check out the article to understand exactly why I think this and why I think they will be a tool but not the panacea the marketing bods are suggesting.
